What we did

Facilitated collaborative planning and community meetings for a HOPE VI neighborhood revitalization project. Small and large group meetings gathered input, identified needs, and formulated plans and priorities, and a neighborhood survey identified strengths, needs and solutions.

Ensured that program plans for housing and services fit within U.S. Department of HUD HOPE VI regulations and program goals. Prepared the final Revitalization Plan proposal package and Revitalization Plan, which obtained HUD approval and $23 million in federal funding that leveraged $75 million in additional funding. Provided technical assistance to coordinate implementation.
